'' a puzzle'' was exhibited during ''Ad Break'' project in Vantaa/Finland between 4.-14.2019
Artist: Suvi Tuominen
Curator: Essi Ruuskanen (Street Art Vantaa)
The image is a zoomed frame to a gigantic stone that once rolled down from a mountain next to it. Later it has become a pilgrimage for graffiti artists and travelers.
The Spike Stone situates next to the highway E8 between Tromsø, Norway and Finland. The stone in itself looks like a lost piece of a puzzle, as its sharp and clearly cut edges stands out from the northern landscape. The Spike Stone performs itself as a playful being, always changing and recoloring as new layers of paint pile and old deteriorate.
