I consider myself as a floating artist. My work moves across, along and between different borders while constantly trying to soften and shape them. My earliest contact with dance was when I was born. I watched myself floating with dance forms rooted in the ancient movement traditions of Middle East and North Africa. My curiosity (maybe the archaeologist in me) , though, suggested that I need to travel back in time and discover the earliest memories I have of movement and dance. While I begun this somatic journey and finished my degree in contemporary dance I realized that this journey is not possible without understanding the inevitable connection it has with archaeology. This rhizomatic chaos begun to make some sense. Therefore. My artistic work operates in multicultural environments, within frameworks of contemporary art and archaeology.

Palate 12-15ml Palate 12-15ml was my choreographic experiment that worked mostly with composition. The aim was to intensify movement as a speculative force that opens up various possibilities and nuances within a set choreographic structure. Palate 12-15ml used descriptions of movement, body and spatiality by Iris Marion Young in ''Throwing Like A Girl (1980): A Phenomenology of Feminine Body Comportment, Motility and Spatiality'' as a framework for the improvised and set movement material.
